I honestly thought that the first book was incredible and that nothing would top it, but after reading this one, I can say that I was in for a hell of a lot more surprises and the twists just kept coming. Both Meg Anne and Kel Carpenter are amazingly talented and they just hit the mark yet again. I can’t find the words to describe this book, but what I can say is that you will experience so many emotions that you’ll have no idea what’s going to hit you. I found myself laughing at quite a few parts, but mainly due to Salem’s Aunt, she is one amazingly hilarious character. I honestly think that both Kel and Meg should write a separate book for her and spill all her secrets, I’m sure that will go down quite well. But on a serious note, I couldn’t complain about a single thing with this book and that’s mainly due to how well planned both Meg and Kel were when it came to drafting this book, and you can see that they wanted to bring out another amazing book and honestly, in my experience, they’ve delivered that. I love the relationship that surrounds Salem and Graves (her twins’ best friend), it’s so different and unexpected, but I love how Salem is determined to be her own person and not let anyone fight her own battles. If the next book is as amazing as this and the first book, then I have no idea what to expect because with this book it’s hit a complete new level and I can’t get over how they ended the book.
Seriously, if you’ve not read this book, I would highly recommend giving this book a read (but only once you’ve read the first one), trust me when I say you don’t want to miss out on such a great book.
Salem is just starting to get the hang of things, but now that she’s back and living again all thanks to Graves’ brother (James), she is determined to kill him…. She isn’t willing to let him get away with it, but now with Graves tied to her for good and more secrets coming out, there seems to be a lot that Salem can handle. With time running out now that more people are getting killed and no one knowing who the killer really is (other than Graves and Salem) they are both fighting to take down the true killer, but when James leads them into a trap things are about to a little more complicated. Will they be able to get to the truth of everything and what will happen when secrets are revealed to those who shouldn’t have a clue when it comes to the supernatural world?
