This is my second book by Jessica Hawkins and being honest I fell in love with her work. I thought reading Slip Of The Tongue was an amazing story, however this one I just loved even more. I love how Jessica came up with this story and being honest the plot itself is enough to just pull you in from the very first page. I loved how you could see that even though Sebastian was a complete jerk at times, you could see that he did have a soft side, but you just didn’t see it very often. Georgina on the other hand was pretty interesting, during work she has a lot of confidence but then outside of work you see that she has a hard time with a lot of things. These characters are pretty strong and I love what Jessica did with them. I couldn’t find anything to fault this story at all, if anything I just wanted to keep reading as I was just hooked. Jessica has an interesting writing style and if you’ve not read her work before then you should seriously go and consider reading her work, I have to say that this is her juiciest, hottest book yet. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store.
Georgina knows how to handle pretty much an situation thrown at her when she’s in work, she can handle being in charge of a team solely full of men. However, when it comes to her own personal life things aren’t exactly easy for her… Thanks to her ex, she struggles to stand up for herself and those that she cares about, all of her confidence is non-existent. But being honest, there’s only one person that matters the most to her and that’s Bruno, her beloved pet dog. Now, Georgina is on her way to new job which she’ll be doing for the next 8 weeks, and everything seems to be going according to plan, well it is until she ends up walking into this dreamy guy…. Little does she realise that this won’t be the last of him that she’ll see.
