This series is something else… Both Claire Marta and Nia Farrell have literally created an incredible world and literally done so many unthinkable things that you’d never expect to read about in a general romance book… Nope, they’ve literally made this series their own and the way they’ve crafted it is honestly incredible… With each book I never know what to expect, but the story, the characters and what it resembles changes each time and I love how powerful that both Claire and Nia have made this. They both have their own writing styles, but when you get to read this series you can never tell where the one begins and the one ends, that’s how much their writing compliments the other and this book has been no different. If anything, things have heated up a hell of a lot with this one I have been waiting for them to do something like this. Truth being told, I expected the style of this book to have either been book one or two because it would have been interesting to see readers get thrown into the deep end, but at the same time I’m so glad that they’ve left it to book five to be able to explore more because it’ll be interesting seeing how readers react due to how engrossed they are with the series… Whilst Morgan will always be my favourite out of these books, I do have to say that I think this one is a close second due to the events that take place, plus Theo and Emmett are intriguing characters. I honestly can’t fault this book, I think both Claire and Nia have done an amazing job and that you can see how much they love writing just from the words they’ve written as their passion shines through.
What I loved the most though about this book is the closeness and the deepness that both Theo and Emmett felt for each other, things can’t have been easy for the two, but they did the best they could despite the situations that they ended up in half of the time.
One other thing I love is that each book carries on telling the story, but it’s just from different points and I love that because you get to see how things are for everyone.
I’m excited to see what else they both have planned for the rest of the series, but if they have another book like this one planned I can’t wait to read it.
Theo and Emmett have been together for quite some time and being honest they are quite happy with the way things are, but they both know at some point they need to find a suitable mate who is compatible to them…. With them needing to be careful because there’s still a couple of threats at large thanks to an old vampire who’s already got a connection with both Morgan and Raven and a Russian who tried to pin a murder on Casey and also proceed to harm her… The last thing they expected was to go from having a pleasant morning to being drugged and then taken away and having no idea who wants them…
Little do they realise that the Dr who’s having to try and take samples from them is their fated mate and is there by force not by choice. When they start to make a connection with Dr Riley, will everything come crashing down before they’ve even started or will they be able to escape before things get worse???
