I love little cosy reads that you can just curl up with and with this book by Sierra Hill, that’s exactly what she’s given you. I’m not a huge lover of short quick reads, but honestly I think that she has nailed this book perfectly. There was nothing that I could fault and considering this is the second book I’ve read of hers, I’m honestly impressed with what’s she’s written. It has everything you could ask for in a short, hot book and honestly it was well worth read. If you are a huge fan of Christmas books, then this one is perfect for you. In fact, if you’re needing to get into the Christmas spirit, then make sure you pick up this book and you’ll be in love with the story by the time you finish it. The characters were perfect, the plot flowed together amazingly, the only thing I would say is that I’m hoping Sierra decides to continue with this characters and expand on their story more as I would love to connect with them even more as you can’t help but fall in love with them. If you’ve not tried Sierra’s work, then make sure you start with this one as it’s honestly perfect.
Joy didn’t have the childhood that most children get, instead she grew up in the system moving between homes. Now that she’s an adult and has got her life on track, she and her best friend have set up their own business to help give back to the children who are growing up in the system and things seem to be going well….. that is until she realises that the gifts that people are buying and donating to the cause are getting sent to the wrong place…. Will Joy be able to get everything back and ready in time for the delivery to the foster home or is she set to stumble upon trouble?
