I just have no words for how this series and book concluded in the end. Hazel Grace has managed to knock the ball out of the park yet again, this book was incredible, it had everything you could ask for. Hazel is seriously talented and she made me fall in love with this series, her characters were perfect even if they did need their heads banging together at times, but it was totally worth it. I’m actually running out of words to describe how amazing this book was because, seriously if you’ve not read it yet then you need to. I could actually relate to Colson so much, it was heartbreaking reading through what he was going through because whilst he was used to playing games he had such a sweet kind heart and you didn’t get to see it as much as the hardass side he prefers throwing about.
There was nothing to fault with this book at all, and I loved how Hazel kept throwing all the twists and turns out there. Colson and Sawyer have come a long way and I love how you got to know the backstory behind them both, it really brought the story together, some authors have a knack for actually putting the backstory throughout the book but not everyone is capable of it, but for Hazel her writing has improved with each book, she has nailed it perfectly. I’m looking forward to seeing what else she creates but I know for a fact that I will miss reading about Sawyer and Colson, they have wormed a place into my heart and I can’t help but love them.
Sawyer and Colson have finally spent the night together, it may have taken 10 years for it to happen, but they finally gave into their temptations and just jumped head first for each other. Everything seems to be going great, but now that it’s been a few days Sawyer can’t help but wonder if she did the right thing as it’s been days since she last heard from him…. She’s already worried about Gavin being back and is doing everything she can to keep him away from her, but for some reason he hasn’t gotten the idea that she wants nothing to do with him after what he did all those years ago. Just as she’s in self pitty about Colson he does the unthinkable and shocks her.
With them now wanting to be with each other and putting everything aside, will this finally be the happy ending that they have both been after for years, or is it set to be a disaster because of people wanting to poke their noses in?
