Yet again Addison Moore has managed to bring out a string of emotions in me, whilst reading this book I felt happiness, sadness and many more emotions. Honestly I never know how Addison can top each book, as they are as amazing as the last. However this book seems to come right home as we read in detail as to how both Grant and Ava live their lives.... For some people you may be thinking that this is going to be similar to all of the rest of the books in this series but honestly it’s not, if anything this book is the one that will test absolutely everything.
I feel so sorry for Ava as all her life she has lived in the shadow as either Owen’s younger sister or Aubree’s younger sister.... Yes the fact that for one she is having to deal with the aftermath of her sister attempting to kill Baya a few years back and the fact that she also killed a girl a few years before Baya. Now it’s not easy having to deal with all of this on your shoulder but the fact that Ava does is impressive but not fair to her. She’s gone from having such a normal life to having her whole world shift and change before her, so surly you’d think that now she got to finish school a year early and is in Whitney Briggs that she would be able to live life to its fullest.....Nope, unfortunately for her she has to deal with Owen each waking moment, so yeah I feel bad for her because she should be able to get up to whatever the hell she wants to. But when she does meet this one guy in particular, by pure accident I might add her life changes and gets more interesting that she ever thought it would.
Grant on the other hand, don’t get me wrong I feel for the guy I really do but the fact he goes about and blames pretty much everyone who was either in Ava’s family and Bryson honestly makes me annoyed a slight bit. I know what it’s like to lose a brother, yes it may have been due to different circumstances but the fact is, he shouldn’t be mad at everyone else. The only person who he should be mad at is Aubree because it was her fault the fact that his sister Stephanie is dead. Whilst he is such a sweet guy at the same time I do think that he should have a completely different outlook on life. I’m not going to lie and say that it’s easy trying to carry on with your life after losing someone but you have to carry on because at the end of the day, that’s what they would have wanted. However when I saw what he was thinking of Ava and this was before he found out that she was related to Aubree I had a soft spot for him but then things changed and honestly I had no idea which direction it would go.
Whilst I could carry on and on with this book I don’t want to give anything away. So if you love Addison’s work then this is honestly well worth the read. If you haven’t read her work then you’ll want to pick up this book as the emotions that this book brings out in you are pretty incredible. I seriously can’t wait for the next one.
