After reading Interference by Hazel Grace I was intrigued to see what would happen next in the series because she had managed to have me hooked on the story and I needed more. I was not prepared for this next book though, but it was honestly incredible. You can see in this book that Hazel’s writing has grown a lot and this book seemed to have that WoW/ shocking factor that was missing in the first book, but the story isn’t over yet. Hazel is building up with each book and I’m looking forward to seeing how the finale turns out, I have no idea how many more books she plans to write in this series, but if she can pull off what she did with this book then I have a feeling that she will do extremely well with this series. I loved the turns and twists that she placed in the story, and it had me hanging onto the edge of my seat the entire time. I was literally only meant to be reading a few chapters of this before I headed to get sleep, but I got that swept up into the story that I couldn’t help but read to the end. Hazel is an extremely talented writer and I’m looking forward to seeing what she comes up with for the next book, I’m actually mad at her for the ending though of this book…. I would say more, but honestly it’s best if you find out for yourself.
Colson and Sawyer’s story is far from over, if anything it’s only just began and whilst Sawyer wants nothing more to do with Colson, she can’t help but keep thinking about him. She knows she should stay away, but at the same time she can’t help it even though all she does is give him a hard time whenever they are with each other. Colson on the other hand just wants to get his one night with her, he wants to screw her out of his system and then he should be all good to move on. But the thing is Sawyer isn’t making it easy for him and he’s not exactly making her life easy either. Their story is complicated, there is so much heat and chemistry between them, but whilst that’s the case niehter one of them is willing to lose at the game they are both playing. With memories of the past coming back to haunt them both, they are doing their best to live in the same town without trying to get swept back up into the past, but for some reason that’s not working for either of them. Will they both be able to find some common ground or are things set to get out of control for the both of them?
