I always love picking up one of Lila Monroe’s books because I know that I’m going to find myself loving the story and pretty much laughing at parts of the plot. This time was no different and I loved reading April’s story, you got to know more of her than you saw of her in the two previous books and you also got to see how her friends (Poppy & Natalie) are doing now that their relationships have progressed more than either of them expected them to. I found myself loving both Seth and April as they were both interesting characters, they work in the same type of styles but it’s completely different. Whilst I loved those two, I do have to say that I felt that there was a few unanswered questions, I mean what ever became of James, what went down between Seth and his boss… For me because of how big both James and Seth’s boss came across in the book, it just seemed like they had a big impact to the story, so it would have been nice to see what actually went on with them both otherwise I don’t think that they should have been mentioned as much as they were if they weren’t important factors to the book. Other than that, I do think that Lila did a great job and it’ll be interesting see how the next book plays out as it’s about Katie (April’s cousin) and we’re introduced to her in this book. If you’ve not given any of the books in this series a read, I highly recommend that you do.
April is a bright girl, she’s doing a career that she loves and her one aim that she’s trying to achieve getting onto the Bridal List for the year… It would be a huge opportunity for her and her flower shop if she got on that list. Everything seems to be going well for her in that department, but when it comes to finding love, it’s not exactly going great… Each date that she’s been on recently have just been a complete waste, but she knows that in order to find the one, that she’s got to keep looking for him. She already feels like the third wheel now that she’s the only one single out of her two friends, but when the most charming, handsome guy walks into her flower shop she thinks she may finally have gotten some good luck. However, Seth has secrets of his own, will he be the guy for her or is she setting herself up for false hope?
