I’ve been following Emma Hart for a while, but I haven’t had chance to read her work until I got my hands on this book and honestly I had no idea what to expect from her. After picking up this book I was pretty impressed and so glad that I got to read it. I was hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put the book down as I was hooked on the story. I was actually gutted when I got to the end because it was just getting juicy. I know for a fact that I’ll be continuing with this series as honestly I want to see how things develop, but honestly I’d recommend that if you’ve not read Emma’s work, then you seriously should go and change that because you’ll be in for a right treat. There’s nothing to fault, the characters and the plot are incredible and the heat between the characters is incredible that you’ll just wish that you was in the lead’s position
Noelle is a feisty girl, she’s got a great job, knows how to shoot a gun and can take care of herself, the only thing that’s missing in her (well, according to her Nonna that is) life is she needs to have the perfect guy that meets all the requirements of her Nonna. However, for Noelle, she is much happier working and doing what she does best. The downside is that whilst things are looking up for her in life, things don’t seem to be going too well when she ends up in the middle of an investigation that takes place just outside of her workplace. To make things even worse for her, she’s got to deal with Drake who’s in charge of the investigation, but they can’t seem to stand each other….. However, they’re both put to the test when they end up joining forces, but will they be able to solve the case? And will Noelle be able to hide out from all the set ups that her Nonna keeps throwing her way?
