This is the final book in Melanie Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farms Series and honestly I have to say that with each book I’ve experienced different feelings, emotions and thought differently on things. It has honestly been an interesting journey. This book was an interesting one as it seemed so different from the others from the series, I have no idea if it was because it was the last book, but either way I think that this book was the most catchiest by far. I always found April to be an interesting character, back in the other books you could see that she was holding secrets but being one of the eldest she didn’t want to disappoint her sisters or her parents. However, I have to say that April was such a strong character, I thought back in Sylvia’s book Sylvia was strong, but truthfully, I think April is a lot more stronger than any of the other sisters give her credit for. If I had to say, I honestly think that this book is the best that Melanie has written with this series, I think she nailed what readers want from a book, there’s the drama, the chemistry, the hurt, the pain and all the emotions you could possibly think of. However, the best thing about this book is that it teaches you a lesson, it may hopefully help other people out who are struggling with the same things that April went through…. And if people get that message and actually have the courage to take control of their lives then that’s an amazing thing.
I actually couldn’t fault this book, I think that Melanie did a great job with the plot, and I loved how she managed to put in the few shock factors that she did.
I would recommend that you give this book a try as it was a great and enjoyable read.
April has kept a secret hidden from her sisters for a long time, and now that she can see they are all happy and are getting on with their lives she feels so down it’s unreal. She wants what they have, but at the same time she’s still got the reminder of the fact she gave up her own baby when she was young and just out of high school. With the help of her therapist, April is determined to find her happiness, the one thing that she is craving in life and to also find the perfect guy for her. With her therapist encouraging her to open the doors of her past and to see her get the closure she is seeking or if she’s opening up new chapters… The last thing she expected to do was to have to face her past head on when she ends up having an encounter with Tyler way before she was expecting. Plus, for him to see her all messy with sweat and all that from her workout, she clearly isn’t sure how well things will go.
With Tyler back in town for his sisters wedding that April is planning how will things go between them. Will there be regrets from the past? Will April have forgiven him for everything? Will there ever be anything between the two?
